Established in 1936, the Chichester Volunteer Fire Department is a combination fire & EMS department that is a provider of emergency services for the residents and businesses within Chichester, NH and the surrounding communities when called upon for mutual aid. Currently the department is running 400+ calls per year.
EMS is supplemented by Loudon EMS services from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm each day and the remaining hours (6:00 pm to 6:00 am) are covered by the department.
The fire department is also home for college students, who live at the station rent free as part of our live in program in exchange for providing staffing.
We take emergency services very seriously and while we are a volunteer organization we are committed to providing our services 24/7/365.
Chichester’s membership is made up of approximately 15 active fire and EMS volunteers. We are always seeking new members so please visit the volunteer page if you have ever been curious about what volunteering entails.
